Canary Wharf Cross Rail Project

Working with Expanded Piling / Laing O'Rourke and Geotechnical engineer Arup DAM Structures Ltd have completed the following main elements of work along with numerous smaller elements.

117 No. Anchor ties which were used to tension the piling line prior to de-watering the dock.
Modifications to the Great Wharf Road Bridge to facilitate the installation of the Giken piles through the bridge deck, this required holes to be cut in the steel deck, the bridge to be lifted and propped at 30 degrees and finally the bridge sections re-instated.
30 No. Fabricated Plunge Columns, 65mm fabricated plate box sections weighing 24 tonnes each.

Pioneer Point

Working with Empire Group, DAM Structures Ltd are supplying and erecting all steelwork within the building which includes:

300 tonne of box section columns. These columns are dropped through the concrete floor slabs and site spliced / welded. During installation of these columns DAM Structures are responsible for propping the concrete floors ensuring that they are level and within the very tight tolerances.
38 storey steel staircase and 70 tonnes of roof steel.

Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade

Working with the Vinci Bam JV we are to supply and install 1,600 tonnes of temporary propping steel over 12 months starting November 2010. We are also in discussions to supply the permanent steelwork. For further information on this project, please click here.
